An unreleased iPad, possibly Mini 5, has been leaked in some photos on Twitter.
The new photos appear to show some design characteristics of an iPad that Apple hasn't yet released to the public. It's leading people to believe that Apple may release an iPad Mini 5 in the next few months.
Although the photo leaker didn't claim which iPad the photos were of, we can see a few design changes and differences from the current Mini 4.
The first one is the redesigned antennae bands on the top, that allow for cellular connectivity. The fourth-generation iPad that is currently being sold has LTE but with more plastic antenna designs.
Near the camera, we can also see no flash, which matches up with the past iPad Mini models that don't have a camera flash either. Instead there are just the microphones on the side and next to the (flat) camera module.
The photos are also suggesting that the shade of gold has been refreshed once again, possibly to look more like a new MacBook Air. The shade of gold Apple currently has now on the Mini 4 is much different.
Other than that there are no major design changes. There is still Lightning, not USB-C, and the curved design is still there with the 3.5mm headphone jack on the top.
We'll see if this unreleased iPad is released in the next few months. Due to history, we can guess the iPad will be announced around March, maybe instead of a 7th Gen iPad?
