A new survey by PCMag shows why people switch from Android to iOS and vice versa.
The survey, consisting of 2,500 people, goes into reasons why users switch mobile operating systems (Android and iOS).
18% of these people went from Android to iOS, whereas only 11 per cent dropped iOS for Android. 47% of people switched from Android because of the iOS user experience, and 25% said they switched because of "better features and design".
For better prices, 29 per cent of iOS users went to Android, which makes sense because there's more choice of cheaper phones. Surprisingly, 5% of iOS users switched to Android because of better customer service (compared to 3% on Android). This doesn't make sense because Apple Support is extremely helpful all the time to Apple customers.
Finally, 71% have stayed loyal to their platform and never switched at all. Apple has lured Android users over with trade-in options, adverts, website and more.
Android users may go over to Apple's side when the new 2018 iPhones come out soon, as there is expected to be more choice with three (or even four) new phones.

Author's Opinion: Personally, I use Apple because of the user experience, design, and more importantly, customer service. Apple Support is really amazingly good, they've helped me out so much with my problems.
