Instagram has released a new Snap-code like feature, called Nametag.
The new feature, which has been rolling out over the past few months, allows you to find people easily on your Instagram app when it's scanned.
It lets you create a Nametag, which you can save as a photo, post or to your story, and people can then scan it to quickly add your account. You can set up the feature by going to your profile, tapping the hamburger menu at the top right, then tapping on the Nametag option.
You can customise your tag with colours, emojis, selfies and stickers.
As well as Nametag, Instagram is launching a School Communities test feature. It lets you connect with other students or grades from your university or school.
Nametag is now out on the iOS app today, and School Communities will be expanded to additional US schools in the next few weeks. This feature is only available on the iPhone version of Instagram, like most newly released features.
