The Chrome browser gets a redesign, with new features too.
On its 10th birthday, Google has released a new design for it's Chrome browser, available on iOS, macOS, Windows and Android. Chrome v69 gives users a refreshed interface, with rounded tab shapes and search bar, new menus and other tweaks around the browser. Google says the redesign providers a simpler look and should boost productivity.
The iOS app gains a significant redesign. Changes have been implemented to make browsing quicker, along with the toolbar now at the bottom of the screen, and the more rounded design from the desktop program.
Additionally, the new Chrome brings a revamped auto-fill, suggesting strong passwords for accounts, and more password features.
The search bar (omnibox) can now suggest key dates, facts and answers without having to make a full search. Additional smaller changes can also be found.
