The company is said to be shipping more iPhones than they have ever done before.
According to Digitimes, suppliers of Apple are getting ready to ship the most new iPhones ever, due to strong adoption of the £700 (approx) 6.1 inch model, which is also said to be arriving later in October.
With this year's series of iPhones, it's said that Apple will lower prices, but higher unit shipments. The 6.1 inch iPhone is expected to replace the iPhone 7 or 8. It will have the same design as the other new iPhones coming.
Other analysts believe that the 5.8 inch model will drop by £100, with a starting price of £899. The 6.5 inch iPhone would be the £999 version.
Digitimes believe that iPhone shipments will hit 70-75 million units before the end of the year – the highest number since the iPhone 6 launched in 2014. This is also excluding older models (the current iPhone X, and iPhone 8 series).
