Apple is facing a lawsuit from Omni Medsci, a company that says Apple has used their patented heart rate measuring technology in Apple Watch models.
Omni MedSci claims to have met with Apple from 2014 until 2016, but Apple ultimately ended discussions for a partnership and then reportedly used Omni MedSci's patented technology.
This isn't the first time Omni MedSci files a lawsuit against a big company. They have levied several lawsuits against Siemens, Fujitsu, Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia and Huawei. Mohammed Islam, founder of the company, owns more than 150 patents spread over 6 companies.
