Adobe has announced a full Photoshop CC experience for iPad.
This news comes after people have been wanting a full-feature version of Photoshop on their iPads. Currently, there are only mobile apps made by Adobe, including Sketch, Express, Mix and Fix.
The early preview of Photoshop CC for iPad shows using a heavy, multi-layer PSD file on an iPad Pro, easily, allowing you to apply affects and edits with ease and in real-time. It also supports Apple Pencil, great for precise retouching and erasing of elements.
A full toolbar and layer management interface is part of the app, with tools, filters and adjustment options you'll find on the desktop version of Photoshop, available for Mac and Windows. The iPad interface is very similar to the main version of the program.
Any edits or changes that you make on your iPad, will sync via Adobe Creative Cloud over to your desktop Photoshop program. This file can then be adjusted and saved: no exporting or converting is needed as the iOS app and Desktop version run on the same code.
The first release of Adobe Photoshop CC for iPad will feature a limited set of features, that will then be added to over time.
