Office for Mac has been updated with many new features.
Yesterday, Microsoft released the update to customers on Mac, with the December 2018 release. The update brings along many major new features to the office apps.
Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint have all gained support for the dark mode with macOS Mojave, and if you have it enabled, you will now find it working in Office. Obviously, you need to be running macOS 10.14 for it to work.
Secondly, PowerPoint has also gained Continuity Camera support*, which will allow you to quickly take a photo on your iPhone and paste it in the PowerPoint presentation.
Outlook also got many new features including Teams support, multiple time zones and the option to turn off forwarding for meeting emails.
You can download the latest Office updates now using the AutoUpdater, if you are an Office 365 customer. Let us know what you think of the new features!
*requires macOS Mojave or later.
