The first Apple event of the year is expected to be sometime in late March, with new product releases, but what do we really want to see?
AirPower (and AirPods Wireless Charging Case)
The long-unreleased AirPower, Apple's wireless charging mat that was announced with the iPhone X, should be coming sometime this year. If reports are to go by, we should be seeing it available at this March event, with more details about how the mat works and what will work with it. Additionally, if we do see this, the AirPods Wireless Charging Case should be released with it, available for current AirPods users as an upgrade.
New iPads (iPad Mini 5 and 7th Gen)
The iPad Mini hasn't seen an update in years, and we believe Apple will release an updated model with newer internals and a cheaper price cost, at this event. It will feature the same design (mostly), an A10 processor, better display and battery life too. The Mini 4 will be officically discontinued when this model comes out. Alternatively, we will see the 7th Generation iPad, with a larger 10 inch display, improved internals and other minor changes. It should come with a similar price tag to last year's model. Heck, we could see both at the March event!
iPod touch 7

The newest iPod touch will be coming out this year. It will likely be the last version of the product line, but should have some changes. We're 90% sure the design will stay the same, although leakers are unsure if Touch/Face ID will come. A better display, processor and new colours should be released. We're not sure of the price tag, however. Finally!
News subscription service
Recent rumors have said Apple is expected to launch its Apple News subscription service for consumers at the March event, over hardware. It will cost $9.99 a month and give you access to latest publications from supported publishers. Although not much has been said about this, it will be coming this year, and may be bundled with iCloud storage and Apple Music too. TV services could be seen here, too!
