We take a look into the details the leaked images of the Apple Watch 4 and iPhone XS give us - using non-watermarked images!
We managed to get our hands on clean images of the iPhone XS and Apple Watch 4, that were leaked by 9to5Mac, but contained a watermark. The images in this article contain our own watermarks to avoid them being taken. If you want to use these images for personal use, contact the Chief Editor by clicking here.
We're excited to be looking at clean images of the iPhone XS and Apple Watch 4 (they are official, from Apple). We've found some never seen before promo images too. In this exclusive article, we're going to look at the small things they tell us.
Firstly, as we all know, the iPhone XS is in a brand new Gold colour, with stainless steel borders also gold. The buttons on the side look the same size as older iPhones, so nothing's different there. However, if we look at the top left corner of both phones, it's hard to see, and not 100% confirmed, but the bezels may have shrunk slightly by a few millimeters.
The corners seem slightly thinner than before, however it is hard to tell because the dark display covers the notch area and the bezel so this may not be the case. The screen is obviously bigger on the Plus model, which is 6.5 inches and both phones still have the antenna bands on the side.
Moving on, if we zoom right out and look at the display, we see a "planet". This is not a planet, it is in fact part of a bubble (similar to those bath bombs!). After studying it, we can confirm this is certainly not a planet, as the shape has shine and bubble effects around the edge. YouTuber EverythingApplePro has also given thought into this and backed up the claim.
That's all we can see from the iPhone XS picture.
Apple Watch Series 4
The leaked image of the Apple Watch gives so much more information. Firstly, we can see that the new model is compatible with older style straps (the strap style is the same). A new light beige colour band is also going to come out ( in the image below this band looks thinner, however). The Watch will be available in a Gold colour, like the iPhone XS.
The Digital Crown is wider, but has less depth. The red crown is now a strip around the whole button, to show difference from last year's Watch. Looking between the button and Digital Crown, we can see a new hole, which is a microphone. It's unknown whether this is an additional mic or a different place for it to be.
The button underneath now has less depth to it, and is to be like the iPhone 7 home button - with a taptic engine underneath (most likely). You can't notice it much at all now. The chassis could also be stainless steel like the iPhone X and XS, but the images are a little unclear to confirm this.
The display is now larger than the previous models, but we can't tell where the screen ends because the watch face is black. The corners of the Watch are now a lot more rounded, creating a slightly different look.
We;ve managed to dig out a screenshot of the new Watch face, also coming with the Watch 4. Apple is to bring a digital version and possibly more faces. There are nine (9) widgets available on display. A timer, temperature, music progress, health, earth rotation, UVI counter, sunset/sunrise time, date and also reminder is seen here, creating a very compact face with loads of information. The digital face will have same widgets on most likely.
That's it from our investigation. We've drawn loads of information from just two leaked images to help show you what's to come with the new devices. At the time of writing, no promo images leaked of the iPad.
